PLN (Missouri's Leadership Academy)

I have had the pleasure of having a regional/state-wide support system as a new principal. I joined MLDS (Missouri Leadership Development System) in 2019 when I became a new head principal. We began virtually meeting quarterly. We transitioned to in-person meetings in 2021. We discuss evaluating, professional relationships, leading under pressure, self-care, hiring, you name it. We have toured many schools and debriefed as a group. As my Leadership cohort ventures into our next phase, we were able to participate in an Outdoor Learning Experience in October 2022. We met at a YMCA campground (Mid-Missouri) and braved the outdoors through various adventures. This experience brought us closer as leaders and friends. This network has grown me as an exceptional leader.
