Sophia Fenske and the Defunding of the Arts

Sophia Fenske serves as a drum major and conductor at the University of Minnesota Duluth. She has loved music since she was a child and the opportunity came about for her to continue her love in college. The university faced some budgetary challenges and the program was defunded.
